Who Are We?
S.T.A.N.D.S. is a nonprofit agency servicing the youth ages 14-24 by way of providing jobs, mentorship,
and educational programs for Detroit. The program will form partnerships with local school districts
including Detroit Public Schools and local Private and Charter educational systems. S.T.A.N.D.S. goal is to
foster a commitment to young people that will promote professionalism, provide a strength within
interpersonal and life skills, to further a transition in which will positively impact the future of the youth
of Detroit. S.T.A.N.D.S. will promote of responsibility that will give youth the pursuit of success to follow
while on path to adulthood.
Over time, S.T.A.N.D.S. will create a learning environment that will be an invaluable resource to young
people, aspiring mentors and the community at large.
